New Radiator, Minor Damage?

Mine has that port. Its a Behr I installed awhile ago. I don't remember what the OEM one had.

Hell forget that. Send it back. You didn't pay for a radiator to fix it. If it does have a leak then what. I would send it back. If he didn't put it on the post selling it send it back. Those ports are thin.
Yeah he was trying to coax me on how to fix it and I replied, I didn't buy a NEW radiator for a fix-it project. I'm going to return it.

You're working on your third radiator? How many miles do you have on your car?

The only thing I've changed on mine was the condenser and that's only because the compressor broke from the inside. I'm still on my original radiator @ 190k.

Upon removing the top cover to get to the radiator, come to find out its not leaking. The expansion tank hose had a small crack in it.

Money saved. Lol. I probably should think about changing my radiator when I do a coolant system refresh this year. It is a 16 year old car
