06 550i Camshaft Position Sensor A P0352
Hi,
I was driving 300 miles this weekend and about halfway through the trip, after accelerating moderately to merge onto the freeway from a rest area, the check engine light came on and the car started shuddering at around 3-4k rpms. Once or twice the car has jerked hard under light gas pedal pressure. It's fairly smooth as long as I drive like a grandma, but I can still feel the shudder at low rpm and idle, just less pronounced.
I took it into autozone and they read P0352 off their scanner:
Camshaft position sensorA
circuit low Input B1
Is it safe to make the 300m return trip or do I need to get this addressed before driving again? Is the repair fairly simple? Hopefully I don't get stuck using up extra vacation days while I wait for my car to be serviced
Thanks
