I have this 04 545i that has had the occasional miss codes, had dps code and replaced, still shows up at times, cam control b2 inlet - replaced cam sensor and solenoid. now shows miss cyl 6 and 8 = b2 mix adap at limit. idle speed control. = The strange thing is it shows vanos is in limp mode at start up, runs bad, missing, batt voltage bounces from 12 to over 15 volts. if I turn it off and restart it the vanos is clear and it starts running smooth instantly, - no miss and voltage is steady . Thanks for any help.

 

start with a good battery, may need an alternator
