I?ve owned 3 of these cars (525, 545, 545)?and they?ve all had the same high-pitched ?squeak? noise emanating from the dash area. I thought it was actually the vent to the left of the dash but just yesterday I pushed in on the plexiglas (or whatever it is) covering the gauges as I was driving 80mph or so?and that fixed (temporarily) the problem.

Mind you this is not anything loud and I don?t hear it all the time. And if I hadn?t owned 3 E60?s and experienced it in all 3 cars I probably would think much less of it. Oh well?not a big deal?just something to mention to the service writer at my next scheduled maintenance. At least now I know where to tell them to look.

Anyone else experience similar??

Had this on a prvious car, a non-BMW.
Got it fixed by the dealer. Don't remember what he did...
