I am a little of a BMW newb, just purchased a 2002 530i, and loving it. It's the MKIII system. The system always boots to the menu screen where I can choose all the different settings like emergency, navigation, dsp,, etc. If I press the info radio button it goes to the radio for about 5 seconds then returns back to this menu screen.

Cant seem to figure out how to have it stay on the radio screen. In split screen mode it will stay on other screens like mpg consumption but again when I go to radio it just stays for a few seconds and leaves. Radio always works fine though changeing stations, just doesn't stay on its screen.

One thing to note is I don't have any nav disks in the player at the moment, looking to get a copy so don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
