That's how you treat a 5 series, old or not. It'd prefer die on the road going fast than in a spot sitting idle.

I believe that maybe you should not sell it (maybe you already did)...
These are nice cars, and yours is not in such a bad shape!

It was your first BMW, and you could really drive it now and then!
It could be a second car that you could use when the E60 is doing its service, you could buy some upgrades and do some TD´s with it!
There is no need for stripping her to the shell! These are fun cars to drive! I wish i had your differential on mine!

The price that you can sell it will not be enough for you to buy some wheels (for example) for your E60!

I would not sell it...
