Seems when I use the alarm system to lock/unlock..all doors lock/unlock except the drivers side(rhd). And even the key wont unlock it, so I gotta open the rear door and open through there.

Anyone know if this is just possibly the lock just not working properly and maybe I can just squirt some wd-40 in it?

 

make sure you check your central locking features in the idrive first.
Second check fuses
third, disconnect battery and take door panel off to inspect wires/harnesses etc.
If you try to connect with airbag disconnected you will get an airbag light that will need to be turned off. So if you decide to test everything WITH power make sure the airbag module is at least connected.
