want to see the wiring diagram for the i drive

does anybody know were i can get the wiring diagram for the i drive monitor. i need the small screen and the large one . i am just curious, to see if i can shoot video into it. i bought an extra screen on ebay for about 50 bucks just to mess around with. Thanks for the help guys!

Is there any identification printed anywhere that would indicate the manufacturer of the screen.

Most likely the only way you'll get what you're looking for is through the manufacturer and not BMW. BMW TIS would only indicate how to replace the part, not reengineer it...

the make of the monitor is by siemens vdo. i have emailed them asking for the info. no luck they informed me they could disclose any info due to the contract they have with bmw . i was hoping there might be another way.

the internal are made by sharp which i believe they made it for siemens.. open the case and you will find a sharp model # and do a google search .. you will find a site which they have pdf files for sharp lcd screens

well i found the diagram it is from sharp thanks. its alot of technical stuff. i understand some of it. maybe one of you guys is a electronic freak and maybe can figure out if its possible to find a video input here is the seb site
