I notice in a lot of the DIY people make mention of the different Torx tools that are used can someone tell what's a good set of Torx tools to have to do some work under the hood when I encounter some problem or maintenance thing I might want to fix on my 530I 06.

Thank you

Either get a set from Sears, Craftsman is always good because if it ever breaks you can take it back to ANY Sears and get a replacement. Or I got a little set from Autozone for about $8 and it worked fine for replacing Angle Eye bulbs, and foglights as well as all the screws for the grilles and such.

I've recently purchased sets made by Sealey but I don't know if they are sold in the USA.I have also found it necessary to have both "male" and "female" sets to cover the variety of fixings on modern cars.

I bought a set of Gearwrench Torx bits that I've been pleased with. They also offer a lifetime warranty.

Sears sells a nice set of craftsman that covers, torx male, torx female and hex head sockets, all in 1 kit. It's approx $75-$80.
Regards.
