So I've been looking all around here trying to find some good pictures of people using jack stands under the e60 cars. I know how to lift the car using the factory pad points (the 4 on the rocker panels (2 each side), and the one under the engine). The question is, where can you place a conventional jack stand(s) (mine are Craftsman brand) to hold the car up while you're doing the work? Does anyone have pictures?

Thanks!

I just painted the rotors and calipers on my 530i. I started by lifting the car from the differ and placed the jack stands on the factory pad points then whent to the front just under the engine and lift from there and place the stands on the front pad points. it's pretty easy.
