I got it from a member here its a hamman rep.
He had never used it so it was free of glue when i received it.

I think you have to install over the weather strip for a flush look. It doesnt fit any other way.
I am not putting goop on the weather strip though, just some double sided tape very thinly cut.

You know a couple well placed spots of soft cheap silicone (not the heavy duty stuff) would work too. When it comes time to remove you just use some floss or strong string to cut it off. Then follow up with a razor on the glass.

Hey FRONJONI and tex_phil, are the spoilers on or did the bar-hopping win this round?

Someone mentioned that Windex wasn't a good solution for removing the wax, I think alcohol was used. I've also heard that Dawn Ultra dish washing liquid works really well for removing wax. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Unfortunately bar-hopping won. At least for me lol. This weekend I have no bar hopping. Just a kings game, which can get bad but I am going to put it on this weekend for sure.

Thank you guys for the info. This def. helps me too. I'm in a market for a Rep or an OEM ACS spoiler.

This forum is the best!! Love it.

Well it's official. My spoiler came off for the first time today. It's been loose on one side for a while, but today it just peeled off. My dad walked up to the car and said "I don't know why you bought BMW, should have bought Mercedes." after he saw me peeling off the spoiler. Lol. Hes old school doesn't understand it's an aftermarket part. If any of you guys have foreign parents I know you'll understand. Anyway, now I NEED to do this this weekend.

So what did you use? 3M double-sided tape over the weatherstip and goop on the glass? Did you tape it down heavily, set weights on towels and not drive for 24 hours?

Here's a couple of oldie but goodies which I followed to the tee. It worked on the trunk spoiler that thing is on solid, but not the roof spoiler. I will do roof but need a hot day to 'bake' it.
