Was Checking on how you felt about removing the 530 off the back of my car. I think it looks great with out it, But since I got a 530 instead of a 545 does it look like I am trying to fool people.

Can someone post few pictures of the car without the badge?

Thanks!

Here's a pick of my car debadged. It definitely looks cleaner, and its easy to remove with dental floss, goo gone, and some wax. Make sure you do it on a hot day if possible so that the adhesive tape on the badge is easier to remove.

Make sure you use the waxed type or you could scratch the paint. The badge will come off in one piece.

If you mean the roundel, yes, but the numbers will come off in four individual pieces, witness my avatar.

A hair dryer can also be used to warm the surface.

I'd go without the badge. Looks nice and symmetric across the back. If I was going to go for a badge, I'd put "SMG" in place of 530i. BMW has badges for "S" and for "M" (of course), but I don't think they have a "G" for any model. I could be wrong.

I don't think I would mind haveing SMG either. People would wonder what the hell that was.

Better to save the parts for resale or trade in. The next owner might want it badged.
