Hi all, I was wondering if any of you had installed a Navtv unit into your E60..Saw this on EBay and it showed this:

"I have a Navtv unit that allows you to hook up a DVD player, TV tuner, Playstation/Xbox, or anything with a video output. This unit is designed for the BMW e60 5 series or the BMW e63 6 series. It comes with everything in the picture which is: NavTV unit, cables, remote, and basic instructions. You will probably need a professional to help you install it but I have included wiring instructions with it if you think you can do it yourself. It hooks directly to the back of your LCD and when in use it bypasses the idrive input, kinda like selecting different sources on your television. This unit was barely even used."

Has any of you ever tried installing this and if so, did it work smoothly with no problems?? Thanks for the feedback..

i've installed mine...it's actually nice if you want extra entertainment on your e60 (mine is hooked up with a dvd changer and has aux input)... but, i don't know for what reason, there seems to be a slight flickering on the start-up menu(tried to clear it up, went 2 the dealer a couple of times, but it doesn't really bother me)...if u ask me, everything works like a charm...so go for it! it's a very cool mod...
