If you have kids or old people or very tiet parking space in the carparks ( which 99% of them are in HK) then you will need to get this, very cheep and well worth it
It took BMWHK 3 weeks to order this Paint Protection Film Edge product.

1. Clean each door edge.
2. Do not cut the tape to the door lenth. only cut when putting it on each door.
3. Get the tape and stick about half a cm to to door, do not stick the door edge just yet.
4. Dont pull on the tape it will flex and it will not look good or get a good line, just let the tape touch the door and use your fingers to stick it down, all the way to the bottum of the door.
4. Cut the tape at the bottum.
5. Now use the 1st finger joint to fold and stick the door edge by sliding it down, no need to press hard just yet. Fold it and stick it on 1st then press with finger.
6. You will see a bit sticking out at the top, use a brannew scalpel and slice it off. Just let the scalpel rest on the door when cutting do not use force on it.It will be so sharp that it will just cut by glideing it.
7. Then use a Micro Fiber clothe to clean the edge of the tape on the door.
8 Repeat 1 to 7 for each door. The tape will last for 4 doors and about half a meter left.

This should only take about 1 hour to do.
BTW I have use this on all of my cars not just BMW.

I think 99% of us did not know about this product.
It was funny when I ordered it in HK.
Cos BMWHK did not know what itis and what itis for, I had to tell them what it was and how to use it.
They have never seen it before.
You thing they are the parts guys and should know all the parts for BMW but no they dont we know something that they dont
