Looking to buy torque wrench that capable torquing from 5in-ft to? With small increments

I don't know if I would use one with a digital readout, those are expensive to calibrate and it cannot be done by the user. I use the twist type, bought it from Harbor Frieght, seems to work more than well enough for me, and the fact that I can calibrate it myself means it is much more useful. Good luck

 

i got mine at harbor freight. nice n cheap. if it breaks, i don't have to wait 2 weeks for my snap-on guy to get parts and replace it. works well

 

How accurate is the HF torque wrench?
I was at HF store one day and they are pretty cheep but I was hesitating to buy it
I need it to do the valve cave and timing cover. And it seams that the bolts are very easy to über tighten without good torque wrench.

 

I recently bought a Schwaben torque wrench from ECS Tuning it was about $30 I used it to do plugs, tranny and diff fluid change on my car did the job. They have 4 different ones to choose from.

Thats a little expensive for that price you can get 2 torque wrenches that have 2 different ranges. Usually the wrenches that have low settings dont go that high and the ones that start higher can only go but so low. You can get one that has a small range for smaller jobs and a larger one for bigger jobs. Check this out before you buy that one that have NM and FT-Lbs I got the 3/8 drive in NM. Im going to purchase the 1/2 in NM to do things like lug nuts.
