Do you just have NCSExpert cable to program or must have a program as well?

guys what am i doing wrong?
i read the trc file edit it save it as .man then go back to ncs exper select f3 it says coding does its thing then i read the trc file again and the changes have not taken effect?
no errors nothing all followed to the letter... odd i added digi v speedo all ok but no other modules are taking i am confused now

as i say i have coded it all before yeah i have all the profiles going... just realised i may need to check the job type.
managed to add mp3 to fa on both modules cas and lma iirc my car has.
my problem is my version is all in german its a pain i changed the config files language to english but nothing changed
