then set the functions in door locks menu.
Well , not sure if it has any affects ,, I'm looking at my CAPPL trc file , and the 3 codes you've mentioned above has different values , but as soon as I activated the Acoustic in CAPPL , set the function under door lock menu ,, everything worked just well ..

Sorted.

Thanks for the help again Blood/Ehssan, car now makes a nice chirp on lock/unlock.

Does anyone know where this setting is held? - I'm trying to keep a 'backup' of my cars settings so if I ever piss about with it too much I can revert back to my old configuration.

Getting back to original configuration is just a matter of recoding the ECU using the Expert profile.

I did exactly the same for my car ,, just in CIC , Activated the ACOUSTIC and it works without changing anthing else ..
Ehssan,
Do you remember if the line of code in the CIC is the same as the CCAPL?

Alarm sound - ACOUSTIC
aktiv

I haven't pulled out NCSExpert in a while but I think this is something I would want to activate also. Having audible confirmation that the car is armed, definitely works to your advantage.

hey guys, can someone confirm if this method will work with my 525i 2005? This are instructions on how to disable the Legal Disclaimer that pops up when the car is started, using NCSExpert....

http://ausbmw.com/tutorials/NCSTutorial/

let me know if this will work.

Thanks in advance!

Could anyone tell why do i have this error when reading some of my car modules with NCSexpert? I.e. LMA or KBM.
When i read and code CAPPL, IHKA, PDC or KOMBI, no errors.
The car is E60 520d 08.2008.

It's pretty generic error not much to tell ... But that error window clearly state to take a look at your log files ... Chk them first and post pics of both of them.

I only found error.log in C:NCSEXPER/BIN.

ERROR! Modul: COAPI.CPP, Proc: coapiGetAbsPathInfo, LineNr: 01, ErrorNr: 1000
