I wanted to do the M5 mirrors on my car and I gave the dealer my car info and vin#. He said he ordered the right mirrors for me. When the bodyshop went install them he saw that the plug on the M5 mirror(2wire), doesnt match to any of the three plugs on the stock mirror(2)four wire, and (1)two wire. My car has autodip and puddle lights. Did he sell me the wrong mirrors? And how can i make them work?

Its a simple fix. Swap everything from your old mirror into your new one.

There are two different m5 mirrors. You need the Pre 9/2005, if you want the correct plug.

If your paying full dealer price for them, I would ask the dealer to see if they can exchange them for the correct ones. After all, they did order you the wrong ones.
