Both of my door mirrors on my e61 are a bit tatty. The blue colour coded bit is fine with no marks/ scratches but the plastic housing is scuffed on the passenger side and both of the bases have the black powdercoating? Coming off.

Mirrors seem to be a fortune so I was wondering if I come across any non blue mirrors could I swap the blue caps? I Had been able to do this in the past.

It's a new to me car and I've only just got it so want to get it as near perfect as possible, most could live with it but I like things to look right.
