Thanks for the directions. Can this be done with the headlight assembly in the car? Does anything have to be removed to gain access to the retaining ring and such that is in the illustration from page 1?

Yes they are the D2D as per the stamping in the top of the headlight housing.

What do you mean by upgrade to 6000K? What is the Kelvin temp are the OEM bulbs? I don't necessarily think that a higher K is better (or worse necessarily) than whatever the OEM is???? What do you think?
