Could someone please tell me where the MPM is located in my post September 2005 car? The car has Pro Satnav and i thought the MPM would be located in the spare wheel well...but its not? The only thing in there is the control module for the PDC, nothing else. I know it must have one somewhere as if i switch it off in DIS you can hear a click and the idrive/CCC would turn off. Then everything would restart. I'm having problems with my CCC randomly shutting down/coming on and would like to check out the MPM before forking out for another CCC.

AH, found it...seems BMW integrated it into the KGM body module from 2005 onward.

Thats correct from sept 2005 production the MPM was moved and integrated in to the KGM module, you will find you have no door modules as well because the KGM takes care of those functions too.

Yeah, so its either the KGM or CCC thats buggered. I'll do some in depth diagnostics today with DIS before i jump to any conclusions.
