Hi, I have an e60 530d 2004 and I did not have the CD changer originally. Would I have all the wiring to do install ipod interface? Can you send me the official instructions to zukayev@inbox.lv
Where can I get the interface itself, since I've looked up on ebay and I could only find the very expensive ones (around euro 300,-)
Best Regards, Arthur

There must be some updates on whats available now, tech moves on so quickly so has anyone other options for playing their ipod/iphone through the car?
Arthur, if your car hasn't been prepped than if I read right through all these threads then you need a lead from the head unit first, then the ipod unit itself. I've just had a quote from my local dealer in Southampton £245.00 fitted. But mine has CD Prepp so your would be more expensive. I think the Dension 500BT sounds a good option too.
This would be a great thread to keep running so everyone can look back and may find what they have been looking for.

Long and great thread. Just called my local BMW service and informed them about the bulletin. They said that it would cost $142 to get it enabled, even with a bulletin. Is this correct?
