Unfortunately you can't go to the dealer and add just the file that will will activate your iPod. The programming must be done start to finish. That does take some time.

Is your car still under warranty? There should be a way you can get this done without paying so much money.

 

Hi, any one knows where to look to run CD changer in the BMW software? I have the cable with the inpa software . My car have already CD preparation. Year 2006 also equipped with auxiliary socket.what do I need to install CD changer and dension where is this option in the software?

 

hey all first time post for me got an e60 with no CDC and im just about to install a gateway 500, i need a bit of confirmation on fitting regarding the looped green fibre cables, i have separated them but now im lost can i just add them to the spare connector thats for the CDC then straight into the dension? meaning i dont need the orange cable that came wit the kit help would be appreciated

to late mate got it was easy peasy and its all coded now aswell, just need a place for the ipod connector, the best place is astray but ipod connector is to big for it to be flush
