ok i believe the m5 rims is 9.5 but i will double check. then i should be all set with the 245/40 on all? cool thanks bro. question. why would i have 245 and 275 set up now? why not both 245? ohhh unless oem m5 setup is staggered?? hah im not even sure id have to check... maybe 8.5 front and 9.5 rear?

I live in Jersey and I used to have that same problem because I used to have the run flat tires.
What I think happens is that Run Flat tire are a harder tire and when you hit any type of bump on New Jersey roads the impact goes straight to the rims and it is not really absorb by the tire especially if you have 18in rims.
What I did was get is get rid of the run flat tire and went to regular tire and for the past 2 nd half years my rims have been safe.
I hope this advice is helpful to it did help my problem.

Once straightened, they become more prone to bending.

You are correct, however, the OP doesn't have an M5 and std M5 tires will NOT fit a non-M car. They will rub.

yeah OEM m5 setup wont fit. maye i should take my car to a local shop. i dont want to order the tires n find out they dont fit that would suck...

i want to get as much rubber as possible on there asap

im in NYC and Brooklyn all the time and although the roads are treacherous I have not b$%t one yet (dare i say it) I did however get a flat instantly twice on Richmond Avenue in Staten Island, but aside from that my OEM 19's are well taken care of. I just dont take my eyeballs off the road...lol..

staten island roads are the worst haha im there weekly. i dont drive faster then 25mph
