How do you to remove sockets in rear console?

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Got my piece with sockets/ without seat heaters in Poplar. Now how do you remove sockets and clear plastic without breaking them? Specifically how do the side lights come off?

I ordered the part from the dealer for replacing the cheap plastic on the the rear of the center console - I have heated rear seats and anthracite trim - the dealer has agreed to install it, so my hope is that it will look like Lomaq's original post:
