Eloy is going to have a bunch of lawsuits on his hands. Because I have seen at least three different companies offering scoops: aFe, ASR, and a vendor on E90post.
I'm no lawyer, but if Eloy has a patent pending on his scoops - and he has grounds to pursue, I would certainly go after them.

I think Eloy will find that this will be very difficult to enforce. He can patent his design but not the idea.

it's a thin line. but i'm all about a guy who designs/invents something to get full benefit out of it his creation. he's invested a ton of time and R&D into perfecting his RPI scoops.

I am totally on Eloy's team, don't get me wrong. He is a great guy from all I've heard and I appreciate the time and effort he has put forth. I just know how difficult it will be for him to defend.

I think it'll scoop/push more air in if you put it at an angle (bend) towards the front
instead of just a flat surface (air tends to collect at and block the entryway).

Yes, it is bended... In the picture it seems not but it is. I will shot a better picture and also will make another scoop more smaller (version 2.0)

Well, I think Eloy is patenting his scoops cause he can sell them in which is fine and totally legal.... While I never intend to sell them and just made a homemade for my own use and want to share it with you. That is all.

Dudes! It is your choice... buy the RPI scoop or make one yourself. We live in free countries!

Yep, his intentions are to sell the scoops legally. Of course it is your choice.
