do someone know what the specs are for the L7 tweeter(b65.13.6.978.631)? i m am interested for the power, ohm, frequency.
thank you.
i ask that because i have found at alpine tweeters SPS 1005 with these specs:
* Peak Power 120W
* RMS Power 30W
* Frequency Response: 5kHz-22kHz
* Neodymium Magnetic Tweeter
* PEI and Titanium Tweeter Diaphragm
* Balanced Dome Tweeter
would these tweeters fit instead of the oem L7 ones?

Yes I'd rather use aftermarket tweeters. 2ohm for stock system? What aftermarket. Tweeterswould work?

Will say me three - Concern if the BMW one has a special casing for fitting etc, rears look like they do

Leads me to a bigger question, what the process of installing the amp to a non logic 7 car. Are all the connections already there and is it plug and play? or is further wiring required too

Went cheap and cheerful, fitted Alpine SPS-1005 tweeters. snug fit into oem housing so nowt modded bar having to trim the secondary plug connex on the existing mid to access the connecting pins (stanley jobby). Newb to the sounds on these motors, so established all of them have amps in the boot and mines the bottom of the range one I did want the speakers to be louder, but given the cost of the logic 7 amp...cant say justifiable

Guys, I have a question...
all this time I thought I had HiFi sound stage just because I had tweeter holes in the front... however the other day I realised the drivers side was not working so decided tweeter was out, today I looked in it to find that neither does other side play, nor do I have tweeters at the back so It all comes down to say I have a stock 6speaker?
I will add l7 tweets on fronts and rears and sws-8 subs ASAP...
just to be clear, all e60s have normal tweeter positions at front i guess right? and other question, let's say I have l7 amp, is it plug and play install? or do I have to get wires all around? because in e53, all was pre-wired... Thnx.
