No I didn't have to put too much activator on it. Just a light coat was suffice.

I have mine taped on now. How long did you guys leave the tape (masking tape) on the spoiler when you held it down??

Thanks I just received the silver one yesterday. I didn't try with the set as I started out with this thread cause I recently changed to a silver car.
I will putting them on this weekend (roof and trunk for $139)

So I resurrected the thread and no one answered my question?? C'mon guys. My beautiful black car is sitting in my driveway w/neon green painters tape holding the spoiler down.
