After a bit of research and guidance from the web and this site i've finished my DIY Sat prep of my 04 e60. Everything is installed and she's off to the shop tomorrow to get programmed. Thank you everyone for the help and to anyone looking at doing this DIY mod, don't hesitate. Went very smooth.

on my 04 530i there is a MOST block connection in the trunk on top of the rear left wheel well. I tied in there. I have yet to play with it because this morning on the way to the shop I slid off the road into a tree. So for now the car is in the shop and i'm ticked. We'll see how the sirius works out when i get the car back in a couple weeks.
