Hi all,
Very nice and informative posting, exactly what I've been looking for (joined just the forum to thank you). I'm currently in Germany and was looking for a way to buy the LCI lights for my MJ 2006 (EZ 12/2005) 530D - you reckon someone else sells them besides BMW? There was something like www.bmw-chromteile.de but they seem to be out of business.

I suppose Bruce_Miranda's cabling would do the trick for my car?
Someone's probably asked these same questions for N times already, so sorry for reposting

Cheers,
Miika

bmw-chromteile.de was simply reselling my own cables. And they have not gone out of business, just have some site issues.

I see - I guess I'll just have to wait then or maybe order the cabling directly through you? Do you know of places where to look for the lights (I'm only interested in the rear lights)?

Many thanks in advance and greetings from Leipzig,
Miika

Thanks! I take it you are from San Diego? I spent some time in San Diego and SoCal last year during my first trip to the US - great place!

if you want oem LCI tailights, you can try contacting Gary Romani at Newport BMW in RI. e60.net members get 25% off parts, many members have purchased parts from him..

his info can be found here..

I have a 2008 535i US spec with the red LED turn indicator. How much would it cost to get the Euro LCI edition? I assume I wouldn't need the wire harness as the car is a LCI. Does anyone want to do a swap? Just seeing if there's some interest.

Red turns are not legal in the EU and Amber turns are a premium purchase in the US - so I doubt you'll find a swap candidate easily.
