Yellow and Amber are the same
and in the EU we only have the Amber ones, the Red turn lights are for the US market only. So you wont really have a choice and will have to buy the ones with the Yellow turn lights.
If you are only after the taillights then all you need are the lights and my cables.

Just to clarify.... The US pre-LCI cars have both bulbs light up when braking? After installing you cables with the new LCI tail lights will it function the same way; both bulbs during braking?

From what I've read previously, if your pre LCI car uses both brake lights then both brake light will work on the LCI lights.
If your pre LCI uses just the outer brake light then the LCI light will use the inner brake light, but I believe this is due to personal preference from Bruce due to the surface area difference in brake light. Personally I agree with Bruce, I looks better.

Hello everyone I just brought a 2006 550i and would like to update the tail lights to look like the 2008 e60 LEDs, what is the best way to go about buying the lights and the adaptor cable? BTW BMW is buy far the best proformance automobile I have ever owned
