I have replaced the OEM ipod kit with a Dension 500, but I am not able to get it working properly. I tried to follow the topic below exactly and the Dension is working, but it does not display any text. I have updated the software, and have pins 1&2 up. Please advise with any help. The car is a 2004 530i, build date 4/04.

I finally got it working, it was an issue with the pins. This thing is great.
