Clear LED Blinkers, illegal or not?
Hey guys, I wanted to change out my yellow bulbs to white LED lights all around my car (headlights, taillights, side markers, etc). I was wondering whether it would be illegal and would I be ticketed for it in CA? Has anyone done this yet? Any problems? Thanks

Yes, blinkers can either be amber, or red. No other color is legal in cali. U can have white bulbs as long as they flash a legal color.
To clarify, it is legal for your headlight turn signals and side markers to be white, but not your tails.
I had posted the link to CA's DMV before, but too lazy to dig it up right now.

Just an update but, I went ahead and changed all my blinkers to white LEDs anyways. Took a cruise around LA and found a shop who was selling them for a good price. The only downfall is that my blinkers are now blinking twice as fast - like little hondas!
. Did i get the polarizations wrong? They're really bright though, and I love it aside from fact that I can't get it to blink at a normal speed lol. Wish me luck staying under the radar from piglets with these
