Car Coding
Where or what is the output of reading the index (CODIERINDEX_LESEN). All I get is a complete FSW_PSW.trc file not the one only from the CIC module. I can't read the module and I can't code it.

My guess is your NCSexpert version is out of date.

At the coding phases of my SAT retrofit (Sport Automatic).
I need to change the VO to include S2TBA. What is the acutal code for NCS? S2TBA doesn't work, $2TBA doesn't work, is there a system behind what the real code is for VO compared to the option code?
Jim

Jim,
Have you try to use just $2TB?

Whenever you want to add a VO its always best to check in the E60AT.000 file in the E60 folder of NCS if that VO is even allowed on the E60.

Thanks guys! I think I got the hang of VO changes and Expert mode module coding now.
Got the SAT coded tonight - I just coded the modules BLooD suggested.
Prior to the coding:
SAT provided the improved shifting and tighter steering behavior. I had no "sport" light in the cluster. I had D mode, the DS mode when you move the shifter sideways, and I had manual mode where the shifter stayed in manual mode. Rev matching downshifts - very cool.
After coding:
I got the "sport" display in the cluster, AND there is no longer a DS mode. When I move the shifter sideways and let go it does nothing and moves back to center position. If I move it sideways and shift manually, I get manual shifting. When I pause long enough without manual shifting, the display goes from "Mx" to "D". So what it is doing is automatically switching back to auto - preventing the frequent problem of forgetting I am in manual mode after a long drive and taking off in M1 and near redlining.
