Tried unsuccessfuly to get the light sensitivity setting on my idrive using the following info from the thread:

[Light sensor sensitivity settings menu in the iDrive]

Control unit: Cappl

RAIN_LIGHT_SENSOR
nicht_aktiv -> active <---- this worked - got it in the idrive setting but the setting kept defaulting to "sensitive" - This was requested by me after I bought the car to BMW to set as it I found it was to slow to auto activate. They probably set the wert_02 in the RLS module.

C750A_SCHWELLWERT_EMPFIN
par_gesperrt -> par_frei
C750A_SCHWELLWERT_NORMAL
par_gesperrt -> par_frei
C750A_SCHWELLWERT_SEHR_E
par_gesperrt -> par_frei <--- will try next not to activate these 3 setting

and vehicle application by:

FLCN + = normal threshold
+ FLCS = threshold very sensitive <---- what does all this mean ?

[Light sensor sensitivity setting]
Control unit: RLS

FLC_SCHWELLWERT_SATZ
wert_01]
wert_04] = sensitive

wert_02 = normal
wert_03 = very sensitive <----can someone confirm these values are correct ? what's setting 1 ? - if 2 is normal shouldn't 3 be sensitive and 4 very sensitive - mine is currently on wert_02

mine has many missing codes.

BTW I use WINMERGE (great tool to compare between files) and it is free.

check if you have the bulb for cornering in ur headlight , I've checked my friend's E92 335I and the bulb was not there ,,, the proper cornering was designed for the LCI , the inner reflector is designed to reflect the light to the side of the car instead of front of the car ..

i'm not sure if there is an FA to be added for it ,, there was a post somewhere were it shows all the FA options and the code of each option ,,

also for confirmation : cornering works only when the light switch is set to auto ,
