So where are the settings BLooD shows in his menu screenshots?

Adaptive headlight settings,
High beam assist on/off,
Auto light control

I just tried to enable the fan speed settings in the climate control. I can't tell any difference yet.

I did another read and sure enough it wasn't set back. I did it again, made sure it took the change and I got it back working as original.

Also - what module has the options for closing windows via the FOB? I have seen a couple DIYs for it but I don't have the GM5 module that was referred to.

Congrats noquarter , if you are referring to comfort mirror folding from the fob, it`s in the KGM module from sept 2005 and it is called :-

BEIKLAPPEN_B_KOMFORTSHL.

The other menu options are in CAPPL, Look for functions begining with "VA", I think "VA" means vehicle access or some thing in german lol.

Sorry didn`t read your post correctly, check in the KGM and KBM modules.

One of the first things i've tried to activate, oil level to but no luck. Had been cool to have a spinning fan and rpm's.

NCSExpert is a lot of fun to fool around with.

Still working to try and enable the Dension Bluetooth module.

The weather is too awful in Chicago today for more programming.

The Dension's BT is operated trough the Dension 500 menu: CD - CD1 - ROOT - BT - page 1 to 3.

I have it working for A2DP and streaming audio. It should also be able to emulate the factory bluetooth module and show up under the "Phone" menu on iDrive as well. That is what I am trying to do.

Just attempted my first code, and I got the Digital Speedo working on the instrument cluster!

However, I tried to read the LMA and I get this error

I've attached a copy of the error log file as a .txt file

Congrats! As I just recently learned myself, you can expect the occasional error like that. Just keep trying or shutdown and start at the beginning. I think others will say it has to do with such and such cable, cheap this, ebay that, and so on.
