MrSingh... Way to stay with it and get that LMA to work! Sounds like some good troubleshooting on your part.

I will do some more experimenting this weekend...

Cheers NoQuarter

Everything is working as it should except for the AHL - they don't self level or move side to side... Need to figure out what needs coding for them to start working...

Good luck with your experimenting, post up if you manage to get anything done!

Add $524 to the VO then code the LMA using the standard expert profile that should set them up.

Hmm, $524 is already there since I had AHL/Bixenon from factory (with pre-LCI lights). I think the little AHL boxes under the lights might need recoding? Or are they controlled by the LCM...

They have coding functions of there own so maybe you need code those as well.

NIce!

Can the cluster be coded in a way, so you're able to see the coolant temperature?

Earlier in this thread we were talking about the code option to display the fan speed settings for the climate control (even in auto mode)... and we said it didn't work.

Well I think it does... the fan speed doesn't display in the idrive like I expected.

On the fan speed knob where you manually change the fan speed, there is an orange light that indicates the speed as you turn the knob. In auto mode, there is no orange light that indicates the fan speed.

Verify this:
1) Check that in auto mode you have no orange light to indicate fan speed.
2) make the code change
3) in auto mode, changing the temp gauge often causes the fan speed to change and you should see the orange light move with the change in speed.

I have not reverted back to the original code to in that module to verify but I am pretty sure mine didn't work this way prior.

Any ideas on what these should do in the HUD module? I changed them with no results.

ENTERTAINMENT_AUSSTATTUNG (Entertainment Equipment ???)

TELEFON_AUSSTATTUNG (Telephone equipment ???)

I got the turn signals to display in the HUD - pretty funny.. I was working on that when I refreshed this thread the other day and saw MrSingh's video!
