I tried the search function but couldn't find what I was after.

Q1. Where on earth is the brake fluid reservoire on a 535d? I can't find it anywhere in the engine bay. Usually plastic reservoire with screw top and sensor but I must be going blind, but I can't see anything like that.

Q2. What's the minimum thickness of the discs? Mines at 34mm on the front.

Cheers

You have to do a search "brake fluid change"

Even using "brake fluid change" had to trawl through loads of threads to find the right one. Eventually got it, thanks. That's why I couldn't find it, hiding it underneath the cabin filter, the crafty buggers.

I assume it's stamped on the bell part of the rotor (too wet to check today) otherwise if it's on the edge it will have rusted off. lol

Cheers

Search function is not the greatest but if you know how to do a search it gets easier.

Use quotes " " if you think the words maybe used together in a sentence.

The more search words the better.

Search just the forum you think it may be in.

I only found '9' results using my method.

The first three threads had the answer you wanted in it.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish...

Of course if everyone just knew how to use the search function this forum would have been dead years ago.

On the Rotor, not the tire.

Rotor thickness, tire pressure, sperm count, obscene gesture, IQ, etc. Aren't they all the same!!
