Antenna amplifier for locking/unlocking

Couple days ago I read about keyfob stopped to lock/unlock car for fair distance and somebody responded that problem is with antenna amplifier for a security unit. Can somebody share information on where is it located and what is a part number for an antenna amplifier, and if DYI is even possible in this case.

+1. id like to know that too.for some reason, i cant lock my car from far anymore(it used to work). thought maybe because i DROPED MY KEY MORE THEN A 100 times.

Assuming you don't have comfort access, I think you'll find the antenna information you're looking for here:
