It will be a CSV file. Open it with a text editor.

I'm just editing some files, as Excel doesn't do the job.

Add "" around the name.

Change

-3.02485,56.19036,Chippy (Methil),01333 425129

To

-3.02485,56.19036,"Chippy (Methil)"

The perl script doesn't seem to like the name being without quotes.

There does not seem to be anyone from Australia who can confirm if this 'hack' will work with Australian E60's. Any Aussies out there who can confirm?

I've found the following site which has locations for Australian speed and red light cameras. Unfortunately it needs to be purchased at AUD 14.95.

Can't wait to get my car to try it out

Thanks to all who contributed to this - works well.

Question: everytime I start my car I have to display map and then enable POI (as the I is crossed out by default) in order to see the cameras on the map. Anyone know of a way to keep the POI set ON by default?
Car is a 2004 E63.

Unfortunately not, I was hoping there might be a voice command I could use instead but haven't found one yet!

My Ride:
Smile

I have followed the detailed instructions on the support website, for which I am VERY grateful, however
although I now have a burned DVD which seems to have all of the relevant files, in the right locations, when inserted into my DVD slot in the car I get no recognition.

I am an experienced PC user but this is the first time that I have used the perl scripts (or similar), so I anticipate some pilot error on my part.

Anyone have any ideas why my DVD+RW with all necessary files isn't recognosed by my 04-2005 E61?

Kind regards
Andy

A question about nav dvd. I burnt a nav dvd 2006-2. But it is not working properly . When i put it in, it takes very long to load. And then it works. But if i turn the car off and then other day on, the dvd doesnt works.
So it might be the dvd? What dvd do you use??
I had the Emtec dvd+r, it is maybe the brand of the dvd??
