I used one of these Multi-Use Transfer Pump. They sell it an any auto part store like autozone. I went a little slow doing the pumping just to make sure it didn't spring a leak or anything, considering how cheap it is.

My Ride: Stock for now
I had to replace the tranny pan on my old 2004 545i due to a leak. The fluid was $48 per quart. The procedure is out there but you have to remove the overfill plug and need to pump the oil in pretty fast while the engine is running and can't get too hot. Then install the plug before shutting off the engine. Or the fluid will come back out... Do a search before you start the process. I have a car lift and it was still a pita job. I used a hand pump from Harbor Freights. Good luck.

Get pentosin at $17 a quart online or thru a local store. OReillys here in Chicago can get with advance notice. The harbor freight pump works but its cheap. Get a better one.
