I personally have several different ones and I'm pretty comfortable using the turtle wax stuff. But, obviously, there are waxes out there that are mind-bogglingly expensive etc... its kind of a personal thing imo

I always thought carnauba wax was very soft but gave a nice smoothness and depth to the paint. I have also tried a polish before wax and liked the results, brilliant shine and nice depth.

Wash, clay, polish, wax.

Does anybody use car polish to wax alloy rims? If so, how are the results?
Thanks.

Hmm how would you wash and clean your windows? I have some swirl marks where you can see on the windows, any recommendations.

After washing I think should be better a good claying also for windows. If you have some swirls or others damages you can try Diamondite Resurfacing Cream or take an eye here : http://www.glasspolishshop.com/windscreen_repair

I have never "clayed"... and my 545 is black. Tips, procedure, anything ? Is it easy? Will it remove swirls? Also whats the best way to clean up a clear acrylic bra (not sure what brand since I didnt buy and install it).

I can tell you that as far as claying goes, its not hard. You just have to be careful, follow instructions, don't clay over dry (or even semi-dry) surface, use plenty of quick detailer and you should be just fine.

Not sure if it removes swirls, but I don't think so.

Check out detailersdomain.com for more detailed info on how to do all of it properly.

Good Luck!
