My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
I just received a little shipment from autogeeks and again want to figure out the "winning combination" for my Alpine White E60.
My current procedure is:
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Carnuba wax
Simple. Effective - at least as far as I could tell. But I'm thinking if there's any point in adding in sealant and/or polish in there somewhere.
What do you guys think?
PS I am also trying out the Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay Bar and Clay Lubricant - moving away (and hopefully, up) from my previous Meguiars clay kit. If anyone's had experience with Pinnacle products and has any pointers, let me know

Every week it should be:
Wash
Quick Detailer (or spray wax)
Every 3 months or as you see fit
Wash
Clay
Polish
Sealant
Canumba Wax
Always put the sealant on before the wax.

I think I'm gonna try the following next time I clay:
wash
clay
polish
carnuba
I want to see if adding the polish between claying and carnuba will make a big difference. Reluctant to think it will though, because during claying, the surface gets polished with the quick detailer/spray wax...

Its the hardest wax that you can get, its produced by some sort of a palm tree in Brazil to protect it's leaves from intense Sunlight.
Its said that its a bit tougher to apply because its so hard, though I don't find it a pain at all - actually, its kinda cool to work with, since its natural. Usually takes me about the same amount of time and effort to carnuba the car, as it would with a regular wax.
The finished look is the best, bar none. At least, in my opinion
