Ah I see I was planning on cleaning my car since it's going to stop raining, there are lots of brands and I guess I'm going to get some stuff from kragen or auto zone any suggestion on which clay, polish, sealant, and wax I should use.
Planning to
Wash
Clay(we use clay while car is wet correct, after claying do we rinse then dry or we wash again then dry then polish?)
Polish
Sealant
Wax

I think the color of your car makes a difference. White is really easy to take care of, whereas black requires probably the most care. I have been using meguiars and mothers products with some success, but these days, I'm thinking to start experimenting with some more expensive stuff and see if it really makes a difference.

Check out detailersdomain.com. Also autogeek is a pretty good site.

Okay cool, yeah I have Sapphire black. I'm going to use the kragen or autozone first, then I'm going to get some stuff off the site. Car is too dirty right now.

Whats the best tool to use wax, I was thinking of the powerball paint (http://kragen.com/ProductDetail.aspx...egoryCode=3310). Easy to get to areas without the long cord getting in the way. What do you guys think? I have one of them small waxing machines at walmart, works okay but maybe the drill is better wince cordless.

I do everything by hand. I enjoy this kind of work you come outside on a nice day, stay in the shade and get to work. Put on some music... good stuff

From what I've been told (on this forum, BTW), you should either use a Porter Cable or go by hand

I don't even know what porter cable your talking about, can't find it anywhere. Are you talking about the power cord extensions.
