Oil, grease, tree sap removal?
Hey guys, I need your help. I have some sap/grease like substance on some parts of the car. There's one annoying stain on my rear right side door that actually leave a noticeable mark which seems like a tree sap but when I try to wipe it off it just won't come off, I've even tried polishing or buffing it and it still doesn't work. The surface of the stain is actually smooth as if it hard merged with the paint/clear coat. Also there's some chemical or grease substance on the top of the trunk. They can't be seen unless you give it a quick wet wipe or when you look really close there's a trace of small water spot marks.
Any idea on how I can get these things cleaned? Any specific type of product or brand that is safe for the paint?

Have you tried claying it?
If it doesnt work, try tar remover (Spray on and left dwell for few minutes and wipe with MF cloth)
And what polish did you use?

I don't remember the brand of the polish, but the product didn't really work because it only hid the stain for like 2 or 3 days.

I haven't tried claying it yet, I'll try that next time when I wash my car. Any specific brand for the tar remover? I don't want to buy one that will harm the paint.

I think the polish that you use is the filler type polish which will only hide the defects and not elimiating the problem, however, abrasive polish such as Menzerna or Meguiars 80 will remove the defects but they are suggested with the use of polisher to work out the polish.
