Well, I managed to get my ciggie smell out in 2 days. First, I use the ionizer that plugs into the cigarette lighter and second, I spray the wole intrior of the car with febreeze 4 times a day for 2 days. My parents and friends didn't smell any cigarette smell so I guess it worked for me.

They sell sprays which contain ozone.

Ozone is excellent at eliminating odors.

It works in the same way as an Ionizer..... only in a spray can.

The ionizers are nice, I have one too and nobody ever even smokes in my car. The only problem with them for the E60 is that you can't run one overnight because the 12v power outlet isn't hot with the key off...

since you be geting the car.. i suggest u send it to a good cleaning shop and have them clean the interior... that might, or might not get the smell out imediately but it should be gone in a few days, and your car will be good as new for its new users..

congrats on your new z4m, and good luck with your e60...
The only caution about ozone is that it attacks natural rubber and makes it crumble. Luckily I don't think thay use natural rubber in a car's interior.

Ooo where you located? Can I test drive?

Bring it to the San Diego Meet!
LOL. Come to the BMWCCA Los Angeles chapter High Performance Driving Event at California Speedway in Fontana and I promise I'll give you a ride on the track with it.

And she owes HOW much on the lease????

Good grief. She could have bought the thing easily.
I'm sorry, I wasn't being clear...the lease buy-out is $47,000. She still has 11 payments of $960 to make. So she still owes roughly $10,000.

But yeah, when I first heard the lease terms I was like WTF?
