I have a question for you detail junkies. My buddy has a 1972 Avacado green Mercedes. It has the original paint on it, and there is no clear coat. What is a good wax for this old car? It is oxidized pretty bad. I helped him wax it a couple of years ago, and it tured every white terry i had avacado green! I expected that though. I think I used meguires at the time. Just wanted to see if someone recommended a wax for older paint. I know I know this is not a question about a BMW.....but i wanted to help him make this car look nice again

PS, i added some pics of the car. One is a pic of the hood, and you can see the before and after pic from the cleaner wax. Big difference. Also, anyone recommend a good leather conditioner for the car too?
