stay away from microfiber mitts, the length of the fiber is too short to pull the grit from the paint far enough to not marr it while you wipe. Walmart has a hidden gen "eurow" sheepskin mits that are under $5. I use a sea sponge myself.

Jelly blades/CA water blades can also cause deep scratches on your paint. Use at your own risk.

I think I'm gonna change my sponge again.
Some people mentioned that I should get a bigger and longer microfiber mitt to wash my car.
What do you guys think about this one? The only thing that made me worried is it made in china. It's in Wal mart and the price is approximately $5.

I also found some mini ball for polishing. Do you think its safe guys?
Thanks.
Yoko.

I would go for the white one shown below the micro-fiber...

What do you want to polish with that ball?

I use the Mequires too. As for the ball, I think it might be a little to small. I think you will want to blend the area when you polish the scratchs out. I think the ball would give too much attention to such a small area at one time and possible aggravate the blemish.

However, this type of operation would be way out of my comfort zone to do myself... I usually enlist a professional for this type of thing.

my favorite sponge is the sea sponge, but its not worth the 20-25 dollar price tag.

I would go to Home Depot and grab the grout sponge they sell for 1-2 bucks. they work GREAT! Make sure they are the ones that are NOT wrapped
