Well, I just happened to look at my headliner and now noticed some dirty fingerprints on it.?
Any ideas how to safely remove them?
I've tried water on a paper towel and blotting it, it didn't work.
Resolve Carpet cleaner?
That's my next step.
Thanks!

I had the same problem and used Autoglym Interior Upholstery foam cleaner which took the marks off easily after I sprayed it on and wiped it over with a dry cloth. It came up like new again.
I'm not sure if Autoglym is sold in the US but you should be able to buy it online.

[/quote]Wouldn't Acetone take the color out of the headliner? Just wondering.......
I had the same thing. I microwaved a bowl of water for about 3 minutes, got it piping hot and dabbed the spots with hot water on a rag. Came out perfect. Did the same thing for carpet spots. Its amazing I have had my car for 11 months and never stained it once as much as a spec of dirt on anything but the all weather mats. I bring it to the dealer for 1 day and it looks like they fingerpainted with grease on my headliner. Pathetic to say the least. Try the hot water. Water never hurt anything.

You can complain in writing to the President/General Manager (that's what I did) and request a meeting with the him/her and the Service Manager. There's nothing the GM hates more than taking up his/her time with service problems. Maybe that will get the SM's attention and take care of your problems. Or...
You can call BMWNA and register a complaint. I also did this. They will take all your information and follow up. You should request that a BMWNA tech check your car and set up an appointment to do that. Or...
You might try calling the other dealer, tell them about your disatisfaction with your current dealer, fax them a list of current problems, go over there and meet the service manager to discuss your situation. While you're there, ask them what they use to clean the headliner or ask them to do it for you. Maybe they'll do it so you will become their customer. Or...
Visit your local auto supply and ask what they recommend. Or...
I've used Greased Lightning spray degreaser even on my clothes with good results. It should work for you. Just dab it on the spot. Or...
Call your current dealer and ask them what they use....or get them to do it.
A couple of thoughts: Since I've also had some dealer applied nicks/scratches, I am going to provide my own "scratch/nick" list to the service rep and review it with him/her before my car is taken in. That way they can't argue after the fact.
I also now carry a quick detailer and a couple of mf towels in the trunk. When I go to pick the car up, I don't sign any dealer paperwork until I wipe down my entire car and inspect the exterior and interior, noting any problems. Then I start yelling at the dealer. I also don't let them wash the car unless it's there for more than 2 days.
Having a light grey interior, the mechanics always leave marks.
It's ludicrous that we should have to do stuff like this to protect our cars (their livelyhoods) from the dealer.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

I have the same static thing going on my radio and I hear popping noises at louder volumes on all audio sources. My dealer has basically told me "tough". And I'm thinking, I paid $50k to hear this???
They are HORRIBLE. I do not even get calls from JD Power or anything asking me to rate their service. I think they suck so bad that they do not even participate in that. I used to get a follow up call from the othe dealer I used to use. Some rating firm or something. Anyway, I just get the run-around with this dealer. Seems like a strange trend I'm seeing here.
How do you call BMW NA to register a complaint? Get on the Owner's Circle and find a number?
