FMINUS, keep us posted on your development. I believe you may have a market in the making here...

After looking at the links, I've been using a foam cannon for many years! Except mine is yellow and green with the name Miracle Gro on it. I use it to fertilize my garden! Who Knew?? If I use it on my car, will it grow into an M5??

Here's what I do when washing:

1) Rinse car
2) Foam car - allow to soak in.
3) Rinse car
4) Wash car with 2 buckets (one with your soapy water and one with your clean water to clean your mitts before going back in for more soap in the other bucket).
5) Rinse car
6) Dry car with microfiber towels
7) Get out Leaf Blower and blow every drop out of every crack.
8) Dry again
9) Spray car with Z6 Detail Spray or Z8 Grand Finale Spray

Done!

You're HIRED! you can come wash my car during the SLO meet!

Any word on the Foam Cannon that FMINUS was working on? Have assembled my the supplies for the my first ultimate detail (many thanks to C's Bimmer and FMINUS for publishing the process they have gone through). May have to settle on a foam gun from autogeek....

Do you own a powerwasher? I happen to own one for cleaning the outside of my house. Anyway, if you do, it comes with a bottle attachment for soap. This too, works great and really gets the soap nice and sudsy and allows it to stick to your car. Just thinking this could be a good alternative if you have one, while you wait for FMINUS' design...

Don't have a powerwasher yet but was thinking about buying one anyway. Any recomendations? I was probably going to go with an electric powered rather than the more powerful gas pressure washers.

Also, (question for C's Bimmer) when are you going to post the pics of the new Mkit on your xi. Waiting for it to get warm here in the midwest to add the Mkit and CSL wheels to my xi.

I would get electric. That's what I have. I think I paid around $150 from Home Depot.

Ha! Funny you mention that. I'll post pix soon of the car with the kit on it. It looks awesome, but I really want the Hamann Splitter now. I think that will add a nice finish to the front. The weather has been pretty bad and a snow storm is supposed to hit us on Friday and Saturday. Don't worry though...I'll take pix as soon as the weather turns and I can get out and snap a few.
